Stephen Leacock Tennis Club is located at 2520 Birchmount Road, north of Sheppard Avenue beside the Stephen Leacock Community Centre. The club has four outdoor courts, lit for evening play and there is a clubhouse, washroom facilities onsite and plenty of parking. Food and drink are provided at socials, interclub and house league matches. Every Friday from May to September is our social round robin that is available free of charge to all adult members. Matches are arranged so that you get to meet other members of the club. We attempt to have at least one social event each month. Socials in 2006 included: a Wine and Cheese Party, a trip to Casino Rama, a dinner in a restaurant downtown and a potluck lunch and two all-embracing parties that include a roast pig, Chinese food and several vegetarian dishes in addition to pizzas Opening Day and two Friday Round Robins.

Club hours are Monday through Sunday 8:00am to 11:00pm, excluding Saturdays and Sundays 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm which are public hours and Tuesdays and Thursdays 8.00 am to 12.00 noon, which are Stephen Leacock Community Centre Seniors’ hours.Lessons for Juniors and Adults are available from our three club pros.

Stephen Leacock has two teams in the Scarborough Tennis Federation's Interclub League. We have a competitive Adult House League that has teams with members at all ability levels. We attempt to arrange matches so that members face opponents of the same ability. Also there are singles and doubles tennis ladders running throughout the summer that determine the Club Champions.
